A 1.5 KD is above average but I think good players are considered to have at least 2 or 2.5 KD imo..

IMO, a good solo KD: ~1.45-1.5 and beyond IMO, a good fireteam kd: 2.2 and beyond In solo, to get a good kd (but also just by nature of solo) you have to play an entirely different version of D2 pvp.

80-1.00 is average and anything about 1.00 is good. If you at least have a 1.00 KD it means you’re killing more than you’re dying. I personally like being in the 1.50-2.00 range.
